As an executive coach, getting feedback is key. Not just to ensure that I am providing the right facilitated help that my clients are looking for, but also to help me grow and develop as a professional coach. Here's a snapshot of what some of my clients are feeding back:
Over the past 35 years I have been singularly focussed on progressing in the marketing agency world as a Data Consultant in various roles and agency types (CRM, CX, Media and Advertising). I have always enjoyed it and it’s been very rewarding financially and personally, but 12 months ago, at 55, I started to wonder whether I would/could carry this on for the next 10 years until retirement and then started to get a lot of anxiety about what my future looked like. The changes in the industry, economy, my own life stage changes and life generally helped to create a muddle that I struggled to get out of.
Grant has been instrumental in being a sounding board and guide, not to tell me what to do, but to make me think differently, open my eyes to options that I would never have considered without him and helping me to navigate a path to a solution for the next decade and beyond. Grant brings with him a calmness and thoughtfulness to each of our encounters that creates the environment where I can set my stresses and anxieties aside and start to think clearly. Without giving me answers, he gets me to talk and explore and he ‘sows seeds’ in my head that will spark questions/thoughts outside of our meetings at all times of the day and night, which are helping me uncover opportunities and stitch together a positive and exciting view of what the future could look like for me and what I need to do to get there.
